Be sure to report your crop yields to us immediately following harvest. If you believe you have a claim, call to immediately report the claim as you have only 15 days from the date of harvest to timely submit a notice of loss.

Production reports are due April 29th of the year following harvest; HOWEVER, if there is a possible claim situation the deadline to submit the claim is much earlier.

Failure to report the production for any or all farm units, on or before the production reporting date, will result in an assigned yield. The assigned yield may be based on the variable T-yield or by using 75% of the previous 10 year average.  Any revenue claims would not be paid.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER

  • Your coverage protection is based on your reported yield history.
  • Production should be kept separate by unit, even if you have an Enterprise Unit structure.
  • If you will be co-mingling 2 or more units in the same storage bin, please contact us immediately so we can have an adjuster make contact with you before hand to ensure records are accurately established by unit.  Failing to do so could result in a claim being denied.
  • Previous years production must be measured by an adjuster before adding current year crop on top (co-mingling).
  • Even if an adjuster measures your crop, a signed Production Report needs to be submitted.

Production Evidence Records must be maintained for a minimum of 3 years following the year in which the yields were certified.  Click to learn more about acceptable production records.
