1978 – Duane Jindra started selling hail Insurance  for the 1979 crop year.

1979 –  Duane Jindra received a Federal  License  for 14 different crops through the Federal  government for the 1980 crop year.

1985 – “Duane Jindra Crop Insurance Agency” was formed.

1988 –  Severe drought caused government and farmer awareness to increased need of crop insurance coverage. This resulted in a major agency growth period and an office was opened in the Demeyer Real Estate Building in Hutchinson, Minnesota (building where Taco Bell currently stands).

Early 1990’s – The agency moved into a larger office in the Century 21 Real Estate office and added an additional employee.

Late 1990’s – Expanded to the current office building in Clocktower Plaza.

2016 – In December Duane’s son, Jason Jindra, joined the agency in an Office Management position.

2017 – Deitra Paulsen joined the agency in an Agency Office Support role.

2018 – In May, Jason Jindra obtained his Farm Property & Liability License, becoming an agent.

2020 – Duane’s daughters, Jennifer Jindra (Agent) and Stacey Luedtke (CFO) joined the business.  Duane, Jennifer, Stacey & Jason formed a Limited Liability Corporation, all assuming part ownership in the business. 

2021 – Jennifer Jindra obtained her Farm Property & Liability License, becoming an agent.
